UAN’s Executive Council is made up of seven UAN nurses elected to the positions of president, vice president, secretary-treasurer and four directors in alternating two-year terms by UAN National Labor Assembly (NLA) delegates.

Executive Council members—all direct care nurses—meet regularly to govern the UAN and its work in between sessions of the NLA and carry out the policies and initiatives of UAN delegates.
