UAN invests in its nurse leaders to give you the assistance you need:  members receive comprehensive training at the annual Labor Leader Institute and specialized regional trainings, and access to the labor education scholarship. Website resources are available 24-7 for members, from the UAN Contract InfoBase and sample assignment despite objection staffing forms, to information on grievances and mediation in the Veterans Affairs presentation library.  Being a UAN member carries benefits outside your union as well, through UAN’s participation in the AFL-CIO’s Union Plus program.
