Protect Your Rights
There are steps you can take to protect your legal rights to form and participate in a union:
- Make your support for the union known to your co-workers. Supporting the union something to be open and proud of.
- Keep a written record of any incidents in which you believe administrators, managers or supervisors have violated your right to support the union. Your notes should include what was said or done, who was involved, where and when it happened and the names of any witnesses.
- Immediately report any such incidents to a member of your organizing committee or the union staff.
