UAN is committed to giving nurse members the background and training needed to build our national union from the local bargaining unit up.  That’s why UAN offers comprehensive educational programs through the popular annual Labor Leader Institute, local bargaining unit trainings and other regional or specialized trainings.

Participants in UAN trainings learn how to get the union message out to other members and the public, provide top-notch service to union members and gain a better understanding of the health care industry in which nurses work.
